PARTIES This Event Service Contract ("Contract") is entered into between The Crafty Corner LLC ("Company") and the undersigned client ("Client"). 2. SERVICES PROVIDED The Company provides a hosted Onesie Station: we set up the station, run the heat press, and help guests create custom onesies and bibs. Service area: LOCAL ONLY — within 20 miles of Gadsden (Gadsden, Rainbow City, Attalla, Hokes Bluff, Ohatchee), with free travel inside that area. - Basic ($250): 15 onesies, 15 iron-on designs, heat press, standard wooden crate with hangers, table setup + instruction sign. - Popular ($350): 30 onesies or bibs, 30 iron-on designs, heat press, custom crate in the Client's color of choice, table setup + instruction sign. The custom crate is the Client's to keep. - Deluxe ($450): 40 onesies or bibs, 40 iron-on designs, heat press, custom crate in the Client's color of choice (Client's to keep), PLUS one custom design made for the Client's baby (name, date, or monogram) included in the design bar. Onesies are provided in a mix of sizes (0–24 months) unless the Client requests a specific mix at booking. 4. BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS - Book at least 1 week in advance; bookings made less than 2 weeks before the event add a 20% rush fee so designs and the custom crate can be prepared in time. - A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total package price (plus any extras) is required to secure the event date. The event date is not reserved until the deposit is received. - Remaining balance is due 7 days before the event. If the balance is not paid in full by that date, the Company may cancel the booking and the deposit will be forfeited. - Accepted payment method: credit/debit card, as listed on our website (thecraftycorner.org). 5. CANCELLATION & DATE CHANGES - Deposits are non-refundable. - Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event may receive credit toward a future booking. - Cancellations within 14 days of the event are fully non-refundable, including the balance if already paid. - One date change requested 14 or more days before the event may be applied as credit toward a future booking, subject to availability and the 1-week minimum booking window. 6. SETUP, SPACE & TIMING - The Client will provide a clean, flat area for the station table and access to an electrical outlet for the heat press, plus access to the space at the agreed setup time. - If the event starts late due to the Client or guests, the service will still end at the agreed end time; time lost cannot be added to the end of the event. 7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES The Client agrees to: - Provide accurate event details, including the design-bar details and (for Deluxe) the baby's name/date/monogram information, at least 1 week before the event. - Ensure a safe, clean environment for the event. - Supervise minors at all times. The Company does not provide childcare. - Make sure guests follow the host's instructions around the heat press. - Communicate any changes at least 7 days prior to the event. 8. COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES The Company agrees to: - Arrive on time with all required materials. - Set up the station, run the heat press during the event, and help guests with their designs. - Clean up Company materials after the event. 9. EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS & DAMAGE - The heat press, standard crate, tools, and all Company equipment remain Company property and are removed after the event. Custom crates in the Popular and Deluxe packages are the Client's to keep. - The Client is responsible for any damage caused by the Client or guests to Company equipment, including the heat press and decorating tools, and agrees to pay the reasonable cost of repair or replacement. - Iron-on designs are applied as keepsakes for personal use. The Company is not responsible for staining of guests' clothing or personal items during decorating. 10. FORCE MAJEURE The Company is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by weather, illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond its control. In such cases the Company will work with the Client to reschedule, and payments already made will be applied as credit toward the new date. 11. WAIVER INCORPORATED The Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk Agreement signed together with this Contract is part of this agreement. If any part of this Contract is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect. This Contract is the entire agreement between the parties for this event; any changes must be agreed in writing (text or email is fine). This Contract is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. 12. SIGNATURES By signing below, the Client agrees to all terms of this Contract. PURPOSE This Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk Agreement ("Agreement") covers all Onesie Station decorating activities provided by The Crafty Corner LLC, for the Client and all guests who participate. 2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK The Client understands that participation may involve risks, including: - Burns from the heat press or freshly pressed items (only the Company host operates the heat press; guests must keep a safe distance) - Use of scissors and decorating tools - Contact with fabrics, vinyl designs, fabric markers, paints, and adhesives - Staining of clothing, skin, or personal items during decorating - Allergic reactions to materials - Slips, trips, or falls around the station The Client, on behalf of themselves and their guests, voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation. 3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY The Client agrees to release, waive, and discharge The Crafty Corner LLC, its owners, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from ordinary negligence connected with participation in the activities. This release does not cover gross negligence, reckless conduct, or intentional harm. The Client agrees not to sue the Company for any claim covered by this release. 4. INDEMNIFICATION The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Crafty Corner LLC, its owners, employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) brought by the Client, guests, or anyone on their behalf, arising from participation in the activities or from the actions of the Client or guests at the event — except where caused by the Company's gross negligence or intentional harm. 5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES The Client agrees to: - Supervise minors at all times - Ensure the station area is safe and free of hazards - Follow all safety instructions from the host, including heat press safety - Stop any participant who is using tools or materials unsafely 6. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION If a participant is injured, the Company may provide or seek basic first aid and, in an emergency, call 911. The Client is responsible for any medical costs. The Client confirms they have told the Company about any allergies relevant to the activities. 7. MEDIA RELEASE (OPTIONAL) ☐ I allow The Crafty Corner to use photos/videos of the event and decorated onesies for promotion. ☐ I decline media use. 8. MINOR PARTICIPATION & SIGNER AUTHORITY Alabama's age of majority is 19. A parent or legal guardian must sign for any participant under 19. By signing, the signer confirms they are the parent or legal guardian of the minors listed below, or have the authority to sign on their behalf.
